Since 1985, McKean County Animal Hospital has been providing compassionate yet competent veterinary care for companion animals in the Bradford, PA community. Dr. Brad MacNeill graduated from the NYS School of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1974. For over 31 years, he has provided compassionate veterinary care in the Bradford area and the surrounding communities and is always seeking ways to better his practice and better serve his patients. In addition to Dr. MacNeill, McKean County Animal Hospital has five highly dedicated and motivated staff members.

We have access and a rapport with specialists in many disciplines within a 75 mile radius when it is required or indicated for endoscopy, specialized eye disease, exotic and difficult surgical procedures, dermatological, oncology (Cancer) and other areas of veterinary medicine.It is important for clients and their pets to be given the option of advanced veterinary care in extremely challenging exotic circumstances in order to achieve the desired outcome!

Charity and Benevolence

As a way of giving back to the community, Dr. MacNeill has been involved in the supervision and administration of veterinary medical care at the McKean County SPCA. By giving initial gratis physical exams to adoptees and subsidizing the spaying and neutering of adopted animals, he feels he is not only giving people the opportunity to become conscientious pet owners, but always giving homeless indignant animals a second chance at having a happy and healthy lifestyle in a loving and caring family setting.

He also makes himself available for the education and presentation to young people, regarding all aspects of veterinary medicine.
